Breathing Christmas air with Amici per la Vita
A small tradition that began last year and continues fruitfully was repeated today: this morning some volunteers from the Terratinta Group team took turns at the Sassuolo hospital with the first Christmas gifts in collaboration with Amici per la vita (Friends for Life).
An initiative that sees us united with the Association that has been offering, for over 25 years in the Modena area, medical, psychological and physiotherapy assistance to patients suffering from serious oncological and neuromuscular diseases, as well as assistance to their families thanks to the work carried out by its volunteers.
With these days dedicated to the sale of ‘Le Delizie’ products, the Association can self-finance itself and raise funds, which at this stage will be allocated to the ‘Hospice’ project in particular. The Hospice will be built in Spezzano di Fiorano and will have 14 beds. It will be dedicated to the care and assistance of people suffering from terminal illnesses. It will be part of a palliative care network that already consists of three nodes: a home care service by a palliative physician, a psychologist and a nurse in network with the general practitioner, a dedicated outpatient clinic at the Casa della Salute in Sassuolo and a dedicated outpatient clinic at the Sassuolo hospital.
Collaborating with Amici per la vita is for Terratinta Group an important moment of sharing and enrichment that we love to carry on to give value to our activities on the territory every day.
